Gold and red fairy dice dragon with removable d20. The wings were the main inspiration for this piece, but it was also an opportunity to use up some gold clay. It's been over a year since the last time I made a dragon in gold (the kitsune from the other day doesn't count). It's just not a color that I use very often for the body of a sculpture, though I use it all of the time for accents like horns and wings. There's been a shortage of polymer clay due in no small part, I'm sure, to Covid, and it's been getting difficult to acquire the colors that I need to fill orders, so I've been looking to some of my less usual colors for the sculptures that I make 'for fun'.
