I'm not good at drawing owls, nor bears, so why not throw them together, what could go wrong? It's fun though, fantasy gives leeway, but you should really hit up references when you don't know stuff, don't be like me (hah!). I actually blanked out on the references thing and completely forgot that this magical machine I do my work on is also connected to the magic of the internet, so yeah, don't be like me.

One thing I will say about my new set up is that it's a lot more freeing with regards to generating a gestural feel to a lot of the strokes and sections, like I feel less of a limitation on forcing my eyes to come to grips with the limited surface area I can move my arm in order to create a line or stroke. It's a good feeling and I think that if I were using my old set up this piece would even more in shambles than it is
