The annual summary of art.
I was hindered by a variety of health issues this year and I think it had a negative impact on my productivity and motivation to draw. I did complete a bunch of drawings that I really like during the August-November window, but towards the end of the year my phase has slowed down again. I drew my original characters much more seldom compared to last year and created only a couple of new ones (considering that my OC count almost doubled itself in 2015). Next year I'm planning to start including more symbolism and surreal elements to my pieces and try to give more attention to milieu and backgrounds.

Much like last year, I planned on not bothering with a Christmas picture this time. Then I had to go and listen to "It's a Pony Kind of Christmas". After hearing this song (

had to illustrate it. I briefly considered doing Pinkie Pie's "Twelve Days of Christmas", but then I remembered that I need sleep to function properly. And in case you're wondering, yes, I did pretty much throw perspective at the wall to see what stuck.
As always this is for all of you wonderful people (over 2,000 by now) who seem to like my scribblings and splashings well enough to keep watching.
