The Almeda Fire has made world headlines as it began in Ashland, Oregon on September 8, 2020 & ravaged the nearby towns of Phoenix & Talent, driven by high winds & low humidity.  As of September 15, 2020 it is 100% contained.  This is one neighborhood that was scorched as seen tens days after the burn.  Here the fine ash has settled & the air quality has improved.  The fire perimeter followed alongside the street leaving homes across the way untouched.  More of the burn area is opening to public access while some of the main streets are still closed & blocked by national guard.  Amidst the burned area, some apartments were untouched, hit by fire retardant dropped by bombers.  Part of the parking lot also is stained red.

Church of S.Vicente. Mannerist religious architecture. Parish church with longitudinal plan and single vaulted nave. The size of the temple makes it look like a see. It has good vaulting, rich iconography. Gilded altarpieces from the 19th century. 17 and baroque main altarpiece in national style.
