The date, builder and motif of the first castle building in Diez are unknown. It is thought that the castle existed already in the 790th. This year is the first mention of the village. From this plant, only the foundations of the main tower are present. The keep and the Palas were built in the second half of the 11th century by the Counts of Diez. Under the Counts of Nassau, the castle was transformed into a prince-castle of the Early Renaissance

Copper Falls is located just outside of Holden Village, Washington. A short trail climbs up to the falls, to which Copper Creek descends down past the old Holden Mine tailings.

It is part of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") An der Finne. Since 2009 it has included the former municipality of Burgholzhausen.

Five old trucks from the 1930s era rest as they were left at Jawbone Flats (now the Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center), part of the Opal Creek Wilderness, Oregon. Gold was discovered here in 1859 & the Jawbone Flats mining camp itself was established in 1931.

This panorama was shot close the beautifully decorated walls of the Royal Pantheon (Prasat Phra Thep Bidon), which is next to the Temple of the Emeral Buddha in the Grand Palace complex. It is one of the most famous landmarks in the heart of Bangkok.

The Phra Si Rattana Chedi is an iconic golden stupa next to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, in the Grand Palace complex in Bangkok. This is a major monument in Bangkok that millions of tourists visit every year. This was shot in november on a sunny day.

Gooch Falls is an 80 foot waterfall located along Marion Creek near Santiam Pass, Oregon. It was originally named Gatch Falls but later named after Nathan Gooch who claimed nearly land in the 1880s.
