The first potential blockbuster of 2019 has been released this weekend - Warner Bros.' "The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part," which made $1.5M on Thursday in addition to $600,000 in special showings on January 26. With a budget of about $100M, Lego 2 is still expected to make around $50 million-$55 million opening weekend.
Right behind Lego is Taraji P. Henson's comedy 'What Men Want', which brought in $1.3 million and is expected to make around $20 million (which also happens to be its budget) at 2,912 theaters in North America this weekend. Rounding out the top three is hot racist mess Liam Neeson's latest angry dad action drama 'Cold Pursuit', which made $540,000 on Thursday and is expected to cash in $7M-$10M this weekend (on a ... yeesh, $80 million budget).
Also out in limited release this weekend are 'The Prodigy', 'Everybody Knows', and 'Under the Eiffel Tower'.

She wants to go to college and was recently checking out a program at Oxford for mature students.
She talks about being a triple Scorpio.
Katy has medically diagnosed OCD.
She lives with Orlando Bloom now and says her perspective on relationships has changed:
"I'm very pragmatic and logistical and I am less fantastical about things. I mean, I was married when I was 25. I'm 34. It was almost 10 years ago. I was like, 'One person for the rest of my life,' and I'm not so sure that that idea is for me. I'm just such a different person than I was."'She's still shilling for transcendental meditation.
Katy's taking a break from the record-tour-record cycle and isn't working on an album right now:

On her saying she wasn’t the face of Mexico and representation in Hollywood: “When I said I wasn't the face of Mexico, [what I meant] is that there really are very different sort of hues and characteristics of what people look like in Mexico. What I would like to see is for more of that diversity to be represented, for there to be more of those faces that you'd see and live with in your day-to-day. For example, for me, growing up, I never got to see people who looked like me or like any other people that I grew up with. That, over time, made me lose interest in cinema and to really focus on things that I considered to be more like reality because everything that I saw in film just seemed completely like fiction.”
On what she first bought herself: “The first thing that I did, because I was finally receiving an income, was buy a bunch of books. Now I can have some books that I've been wanting. The Lovely Bones — I bought that in Spanish. The Little Prince. One that's called La Tregua in Spanish, a book by Mario Benedetti who's a very well-known novelist.”
On something the media is reporting incorrectly about her that she’d like to clear up: “That I'm 25 and not 26 like some people are saying.”

Oscar winning actress Juliette Binoche, who was doing a press conference at a film festival, has this to say about Harvey Weinstein:
“I almost want to say peace to his mind and heart, that’s all. I’m trying to put my feet in his shoes. He’s had enough, I think. A lot of people have expressed themselves. Now justice has to do its work. I never had problems with him, but I could see that he had problems. As a producer he was wonderful, most of the time. I think he was a great producer. That we shouldn’t forget, even though it’s been difficult for some directors and actors and especially actresses. I just want to say peace to his mind and let justice do what it needs to do.”
