Rising star Jamell Demons, known as YNW Melly, was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree murder after allegedly murdering two of his friends in October. Police claim that he and another friend shot the two victims and then staged the crime scene to look like a drive-by.

Back in October, Demons' lawyer gave a statement saying “He’s sad, he’s upset, obviously." "Those were his best friends.”

Kanye collabed with him last month.

The teen's most popular song is the viral hit "Murder On My Mind" where he talks about murder being on his mind.

- More than 40 high-profile cinematographers and directors and over 50 members of other branches (editors, costumes, etc.) have signed onto a statement that blasts the Academy for presenting 4 awards during the commercial break and then airing an edited version later in the show (literally for what? to save 30 seconds?)
- Some of the high profile signees: Roger Deakins, Emmanuel Lubezki, Reed Morano, Rachel Morrison, Robert Richardson, Vittorio Storaro, Damien Chazelle, Spike Jonze, Spike Lee, Ang Lee, Dee Rees, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Sandy Powell, etc.
- Want the Academy to reverse their decision and air all the categories like they have previously.

If they don't reverse this by Friday...
