Farming in spring... I'm almost sure that all my classmate felt stuck when they first saw this essay topic. I mean living in the city we don't know much about farming in general, and farming in spring in particular. Everyone definitely has a certain image in mind when he or she hears this expression. when I hear farming in spring I imagine workers preparing the fields, women doing their contribution to the whole farming process, I think about the sun shining all over and green leaves appearing on the trees as this is what spring associates with for me. Frankly speaking I don't know much about farming and I'm not very much interested in it, but I know people who are fond of gardening, for example, and who consequently know something about different kinds of plants and farming.

Sorry, I wasn't around :)

farming in spring... "farming in spring" say you? well, it doesn't make
much sense whatsoever. It's as exciting as watching two flies intercourse. With
the land we have stone is our major crop. Every year we try, we really
do, to prepare this land - we put God only knows how many truckloads of
horseshit into it (we are those ones who would like to sell so-called
"organic" produce). But then all of the sudden my grandpa wakes up.
For the last 30 years he's got this crazy idea - if one carefully
combined potatoes with tomatoes, this lucky man would get a wonderful
plant with potatoes underground and tomatoes on the top. Don't
ask me why does he call this plant 'PUKS'... Pretty cool,
don't you think? But I tell you what - for some unknown reason the
results are quite opposite. Tomato's part remains in ground, potato's
part on top. Not unusual in my opinion, but it makes my grandpa
mad for 30 years in a row - he just uses his old connections and
burns everything down with napalm... Surely the only thing that
can survive napalm is the stone - that's why it's our main crop...
Hey teacher! I won't say "we don't need no education" and shit like
this. But come on, are you mental? Giving tasks like this to "city
boys"?
