29 мая состоялся финал Евровидения 2010 в Осло (Норвегия). Победительницей 55-го по счету международного конкурса песни стала Лена Майер-Ландрут из Германии с песней Satellite ("Спутник"). Она набрала 246 баллов, с существенным отрывом опередив занявшую второе место группу MaNga из Турции (170 баллов) и румынский дуэт Паулы Селин и Ови, ) со 162 баллами занявший третье место.
Через неделю после победы в национальном отборе ролик с песней «Satellite» был просмотрен на популярном видеохостинге YouTube более 2,5 миллионов раз (к первому полуфиналу — уже 9,7 миллиона), тем самым задолго до начала конкурса обогнав многих участников и победителей конкурса предыдущих годов. Три песни ("Satellite", "Bee", "Love Me") Лeны Майер-Ландрут заняли первые три места на немецком iTunes Store.

«Человек Европы, белорус, живет в Норвегии, поет по-русски. В Норвегии замерз – возвращается в Россию», – так отозвался политик Владимир Жириновский об Александре Рыбаке, когда тот поднялся на сцену «Олимпийского», чтобы получить Премию Муз-ТВ. Александр, благодаря голосам своих поклонников, стал победителем в номинации «Прорыв года».
Явно, триумфатор прошлогоднего «Евровидения» не ожидал получить главную музыкальную награду России. От волнения и растерянности в своей благодарственной речи Саша назвал себя «норвежцем года». «Спасибо большое. Это для меня вообще невероятно – быть норвежцем года. Что? Прорыв года! О господи!» – рассмешил зал Рыбак.
Принимая тарелку из рук Юлии Ковальчук, новоиспеченный лауреат Премии Муз-ТВ заметил, что он недавно купил дом и посуда ему пригодится.

Никогда не было сомнений в том, что Йоханна (Johanna Gudrun Jonsdottir) станет певицей. Она родилась в Копенгагене, Дания, 16го октября 1990го года и с рождения была одаренным ребенком, начав петь еще до того, как говорить!

Йоханна и ее родители переехали в Рейкьявик, когда Йоханне было всего два года и она продолжала демонстрировать большой интерес к музыке. Семья переехала в Хафнарфьорпур, когда Йоханне было 8 лет и именно там она получила первую возможность продимострировать свой талант. Она была одним из семи сотен детей, принимавших участие в одном из музыкальных конкурсов, где ее талант заметила Мария Бьорк. Она предложила Йоханне поступить в свою детскую музыкальную школу, и именно там Йоханна постигла основы исполнения современной поп-музыки. Все были поражены не только ее диапазону и взрослости голоса, но и контролю, который она демонстрировала во время выступлений. Помимо этого она продемонстрировала возможность быстро запоминать и адаптировать песни под собственный вокальный стиль.
Йоханна записала свой первый альбом в возрасте 9 лет и он был выпущен на ее 10й день рожденья в 2000 году. Он стал очень успешным и за ним последовал второй альбом в 2001 году, подтвердив ее статус молодого таланта. Ее третьй альбом, в который вошли популярные рождественские песни, вышел в конце 2003 года. На какой-то промежуток времени Йоханна перестала выпускать альбомы, что дало ей время продолжить учиться и работать над своим мастерством.

Для того чтобы разработать свой вокал и неповторимый музыкальный стиль, Йоханна проводит подростковые годы работая в студии с музыкальными инструкторами, авторами и продюсерами. Для девушки это был особенно напряженный период, поскольку она одновременно посещала обычную школу и хотела, как и все, проводить время с друзьями. Тем не менее, Йоханне приходилось подолгу отсутствовать дома, репетируя в Нью Йорке или Лос-Анджелесе и встречаясь с музыкальными продюсерами по всему миру. После отказа подписать контракт с одним из крупных лейблов, Йоханна проводит какое-то время в Дании, работая над своей вокальной техникой. В это время она записывает свой первый "взрослый" альбом "Butterflies and Elvis" с британским автором Ли Хорроксом и звукорежиссером Томасом Ецци. О Йоханне Ецци отзывался следующим образом: "Это талантливая, белая исландская девушка с душою пятидесятилетнее негритянки. Это просто невероятно".
Альбом был с воодушевлением воспринят критиками после его выхода в начале 2008 года. Годы детской музыки уже были позади и Йоханна вложила все свое сердце и душу в новое звучание. Когда продюсер и автор песен Оскар Полл Свейнссон предложил Йоханне исполнить песню Is It True? на отборе к Евровидению 2009, он ориентировался на особенный стиль и R'n'B звучание певицы, и, как оказалось, не ошибся.

В возрасте 18 лет, Йоханна замкнула круг и сейчас сама учит детей петь в той же школе, где начинала свою карьеру почти 10 лет назад. Более того, она все еще концентрируется на развитии своей вокальной техники, посещая курсы Академии песенного и вокального мастерства в Рейкьявике. Йоханна выросла в душевную, трудолюбивую и высокомотивированную молодую певицу, которая держит свою судьбу под полным своим контролем.

	На крючке у Рыбака Окажется российская публика
Сейчас уже трудно сказать, насколько был просчитан успех Александра Рыбака. Музыка паренька со скрипкой, грохнувшая на «Евровидении», в первую очередь стала елеем на сердца соотечественников, истосковавшихся по «европейским» победам.
