The squamagox, despite looking like a drake, is not related to any of the known species. It is a highly derived member of the order
squamata, a.k.a a lizard. Its closest relatives are lizards similar to those In the genus Cordylus (girdle-tailed lizards).
These lumbering herbivores are usually docile and travel vast arid areas in search of plants, showing preference towards leafy vegetation. However, if threatened, the squamagox will use its massive spiked tail to slash through any aggressor.
