Banzai lets his emotions out -- and in typical hyena fashion, he channels his grief into anger instead.

So yeah. This hearkens back to the scene where he was asking Simba about the Great Kings of the Past and how they supposedly work. Turns out he wasn't asking to see if maybe Ed or Shenzi went up there with them; he was asking because he wanted to know if the Great Kings let all those bad things happen to his friends. Either way, Simba doesn't seem to have an answer. What can he possibly say to the accusation that his ancestors doomed people because they couldn't let go of the past, the same mistake he's been making in his own life?
