This was another one of those projects that started out so simple in concept&But again, just gradually snowballed into something a bit more elaborate over time because I just cannot do anything simple.

Anyway, as you can probably tell, I was toying around with the sprites from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: the Game and making heavier versions of some of the playable characters based on the chubby enemies they fight in the game. (William/Donnie for the boys, and Buta for the girls, naturally.)

As I got more invested in the idea, the edits became slightly more complex, and then once I had animations for all seven fighters, I just piled them all together into one big, fancy GIF like so to effectively show them all off.

Believe me: I too would love for this to be a full-on mod, but I really do not have the time, energy, or even facilities to make it happen. (Sprite work is surprisingly hard! ) But I do hope yall can at least enjoy the hypothetical concept as much as I do.
