The Eurasian Draught is known primarily for it's thick neck and large, heavy head. Their cheeks are round with a long, convex face and feathering under the chin. They stand between 15 and 17 hands and have thick, stiff manes that stand upright when short and fall slightly when long, with an average sized forelock. Their legs are sturdy with solid hooves, though may need some work after their lives in the wild. Minimal feathering can be seen around the fetlocks and they have a long torso, with a flat, smooth underbelly. Mares may be a bit plumper in the belly, but there is otherwise no sexual dimorphism. The mane of the Eurasian Draught is another key feature. Much like their ancestors, the Przewalski's Horse, they have stiff manes that remain short and stand upright. In winter, the manes will grow thicker and sometimes fall over the neck. However, unlike more modern breeds, the mane of the Eura does not grow longer than 5 to 8 inches.
