(Note: Attack hits all enemy and ally Pokemon)Battle Specs: The best way to describe Dynabi is the most fragile of glass cannons. It's got remarkably high offensive stats and an even higher speed stat to go along with it. In fact, it's got one of the highest speed stats on any Sapio-native 'mon! That, on top of having a surprisingly wide pool of moves to choose from grants it tremendous sweeping potential. However, it's defensive prowess is...non-existant. It low HP and low defenses (of which even its previous form had more of) means that while it can deal a lot of damage, it absolutely cannot TAKE any damage before crumbling. And that's not even mentioning its 4x weakness to Ground, thanks to its typing. It's abilities are also rather...situational. Flash Fire can help augment it's already powerful Fire moves, Hustle can provide a decent Attack buff...but at the cost of its accuracy, and Aftermath can be a nice little parting gift from the grave...but you can guess the issue here.
On the topic of its wide movepool, of course, it's got a lot of nice Fire and Electric moves to toy around with (Wild Charge, Flare Blitz, Volt Switch, Overheat, Burn Up, Rising Voltage...and of course, Thunderbolt and Flamethrower), but it's level-up moves also tote some DRAGON moves like Dragon Rage, Dragon Dance, and Dragon Rush (it can also get Dragon Pulse via move tutor), and for TMs, it's got Flash Cannon, Energy Ball, Dazzling Gleam, Focus Blast, Electro Ball, and Hyper Beam all in its arsenal! It's got a lot of punch in its set, so if you want to cause some havoc, have fun! (Just keep in mind that Dynabi works like your typical stone evolution, so if you want those sweet level-up moves, you need to stall in its previous forms to get them.) ...oh yeah, and it can also learn Self-Destruct and Explosion, because of course, it can.
As one last topic to tackle, Dynabi also has the luxury of getting a signature move upon evolution! it's called
Big Bang Blast, and it's essentially the equivalent of a suped-up, Fire-typed Earthquake! It's a very potent screen-nuking move from a mon who's special attack is already more than potent! BUT...it comes with a price. As a cost for such a big bang, all of Dynabi's stats are lowered by one stage afterwards. It's a powerful move, but it's also a risky one, so exercise caution when letting loose.
Simply put, Dynabi is textbook case of "high risk, high reward". It's VERY frail, it's abilities are kind of..."eh", and even its signature attack has a major downside to it. But the combination of high power and speed plus a varied type arsenal can lead to INCREDIBLE sweeping potential if used wisely. It's like actual fireworks, they're very dangerous and its easy to mess up, but if you handle them just right, you're in for quite the show!
Artist's Notes: I may not have had anything planned for Christmas, but I sure as heck had something planned for New Years! A little fireworks show to kick off the new year! Speaking off, in terms of aesthetics, this is definitely one of my favorite designs. There's something about the way the purple and yellow blend together that really helps it pop! ...And before anyone says it, I'm aware of the exploding elephant in the room regarding the concept; this is just a different spin on the idea, that's all.
