And mother-in-laws are supposed to be annoying. It's a contractual obligation.

Granted, Sothis's ability to read a room and to only be seen or heard by those she chooses makes her quite handy when Edelgard needs potential allies (or enemies) sized up. But, this is counterbalanced by such shenanigans as rubbing up Edelgard's lovehandles, referring to them as "child-bearing hips", and asking when she's going to be a granny.

Like I said, contractually obligated to be annoying."
