As the early evening sky starts changing colors, Simba starts pushing Banzai to move on with his story.
But in the meantime...Hyena Love!

I bounced around a few different ideas for this page, including one where Shenzi and Banzai cuddle together and watch vultures get blasted by a booby trap they set up over the Birdie Boiler. But here, they're doing more wholesome romantic things.

That's a hippo skeleton they're hiding behind in Panel 4, and that's of course the Banana Boat song that Rafiki is singing. I know it's actually a Jamaican song, but if Timon can be familiar enough with Polynesian culture to do a Hula dance number in the movie, a more scholarly type like Rafiki is bound to know some Caribbean music.
