My goal with redesigning my OC Kaiju was to imagine what they might have looked like if they went the classic tokusatsu route. Big thanks to KingGodAmeraMan for helping me out with that. Gerela's new design is shinier and more skeletal, based on a neat redesign by RyugaBoumera

Gerela's Tokusatsu style will be a puppet.

Her roar will be the Stalker from Dead Space 2.

12,000 years ago, Nikkugon had battled the treacherous god Vastatos. He ultimately defeated the dark entity and banished him, but not before some of his spilled blood gave rise to eight Avatars, the Children of Vastatos. Legend has it that if one of the Children were to break the seal, it would become Vastatos reborn.

One of these Children was GERELA, the Child of Light and the Avatar of Greed. Despite being a creature of light, she was no saint of holy power; Gerela was still a chaotic, power-hungry entity. She is also the fastest monster recorded, capable of outrunning Nikkugon, who eventually came to stop the evil entity. The Nanjou clan aided the guardian in ultimately sealing away the serpent-like monster, and the land was restored to normal, and the Nanjou clan cured the blind who saw the evil angel. Despite this defeat, Gerela was not destroyed, and she would eventually return in 1999 to seek out Vastatos.

Powers/Weapons:

-Able to move at near-light speed for split seconds of time
-Back spikes channel electrons to power the rest of the body
-Fires concentrated Plasma Beam from mouth, which can cut through anything
-Able to charge body with pure light in order to blind opponents
-Levitation

-Hive mentality shared by other Avatars
