A map made as a commission for @knowledg12.

Not much backstory other than the US wins the War of 1812, the cotton gin is never invented (no civil war) and Mexico is fully annexed in 1848. Cuba, the Caribbean and most of Central America are subsequently incorporated into the Grand Republic.

While I did have a lot of fun figuring out the composition of state and territory borders, I'm in no ways an expert on North American history. So there's bound to be errors and inconsistencies here and there.

The map was made using both QGis (a big thanks to @GustafMaps for both making an excellent tutorial and answering follow up questions) and Adobe Illustrator, making this not only my first map set in the North American hemisphere, but also the first one using software other than Illustrator in several years.
