My version of the Cruisers for the Krogan Clans. Mogr class (krogan word for "Fist" or "Bash") Length: 460 meters.
Uplifted by the Salarians and the Citadel Council in year 80 CE the krogans got new advanced technology to recover from the aftermath of their own nuclear holocaust on Tuchanka. No longer bound on their desolate Homeworld, and with new technologies like FTL drives, artificial gravity, mass accelerator weapons and the knowledge to manipulate mass effect fields the krogans started to build a respectable fleet in no time. For over 700 Years the krogans were the primary military force for the Citadel species.

Class Overview
The Mogr class was a shared design trough the different krogan clans. While the overall layout may be often looks the same, each clan had freedom in how they equiping their ships. That means, that individual warships are fitted out very differently depending on the resources or preferences of the clan. One clan may prefer speed over pure power another may choose to fit its weapons with Toxic ammonition instead of standard Explosive rounds.
The Mogr is 460 meters in length with reinforced hull structures that should support ramming maneuvers or controlled crash landings. The underside has a kind of tusk (a shared design feature on all Krogan starships) which was driven into the hull of an enemy ship during such ramming maneuvers so that boarding teams could cross over.
These cruisers were armed with 4 spinal mass accelerators as primary armament and about a dozen smaller guns as secondary armament which were attached to rotating arms to cover a total of 360 degrees of shooting angle.
Since the krogan were not exactly squeamish with their ships, the Mogr class was often built in a fast process in order to quickly replace possible losses. However, this fast-track procedure often caused internal malfunctions so that these ships actually had to be repaired and serviced throughout.

The Mogr class was in service until the Krogan Rebellions. Since the end of the Krogan Rebellions in 800 CE, they have been prohibited from constructing warships. This ban is enforced by the Council Demilitarization Enforcement Mission arm of the Citadel Council, which maintains garrisoned outposts throughout the Krogan DMZ. Every few years, another krogan warlord violates the ban, but usually an alliance of rivals ends his dreams of hegemony before Citadel forces even have to fire a shot.
