Ported to OBJ from the game map created for the ZombieMod (ZM) add-on for Valve's CounterStrike: Source (CSS) by Natalya[AF]. Preview picture posed in XNALara XPS. TO download, click on the Download icon.
This is another CSS ZM-series classic map crafted by Natalya[AF]. It's her own remake of the hoary old Zombie Master classic "zm_roytheship," but extensivly updated and reworked both to make it more realistic and to better implement climbing and barricading during game play on the Source engine original. As with many of her classic maps this is one that you'll almost always find on just about every Source engine zombie game play server out there large or small. I personally don't think she quite made it this time in the "striving for realism" looks department, but I'm told this is more than made up for by its game play, which many have described as "lots of fun." My main reason for porting it is because of its classic zombie map status, so all of the fans of this map can play with it in their favorite 3D software, but I'm sure the rest of you might be able to find a use for it in your own 3D projects as well.
Oh, I should add that Natalya slipped in a bunch of Easter eggs in this map. Some are obvious, and some are not so obvious. I'll let you have fun finding them all (grin)
There are two versions of this map in the download archive. The first is a straighforward port of the original. With the second, I tried replacing the stock water surfaces with my own semitransparent version of the Dead or Alive 5 ocean surface, which I originally got from a game stage map ported by JhonnyHerbert, I think. The reason for this is Source engine water surfaces don't always port well, and this was easier than trying to fix a bunch of flipped normals on the different water sections. Other than that I have as usual tried to find and fix all textures that went transparent during the porting process, but no promises. Any remaining problems, such as doors frozen open or flat on the ground and "hover" objects, you will have to fix yourself.
Permission to mod/hack/re-release and porting to any and ALL other 3D model formats is granted. Please credit Natalya[AF] as the original creator. You do not have to credit me for my OBJ port.
