Natalia's Report

There it is, right before my eyes. Cleverly hidden in the autumn forest disguised as an harmless looking pond. The people in the nearby village would say that it used to be a small well that after an earthquake have grown considerably in size. The ominous looking hole have recently entice nearby visitors to take a dip with the intend to explore whatever secrets that it holds within. Some never came back, no body was ever recovered. Many attempts to prevent people from visiting this pond usually end in failure (A fence is not going to stop me.)
Recently they have put a rather thin but magical spell around the pond that prevents people or object from entering the water. Enabling anyone to step on it and walk around to look deep into the abyss. Though for some reason while keeping people away from the pond is nice, i have a feeling that it's also trying to prevent something from exiting it.

i hope you enjoy the painting along with the story that goes along with it.
This one is rather short and sweet playing with the concept inspired by real life places such as the blue hole and Jacob's well. Cave diving spots are scary and the creepy unknown depths that would make anyone unnerving from seeing it too long. Asking my friends they certainly felt uneasy staring at this painting. I'd like to know your opinion too, do you ever visited places like this? How does this painting make you feel? Leave them down in the comments
