This painting was a simple and quick one - a painting over a photo. I had a lot of fun creating this! The picture was taken in Park Gьell in Barcelona in Spain some years ago. Very beautiful all the creative artistic buildings from Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona ! I removed the people in the background and changed this person (myself - I was pretty tanned back then # ) into a fantasy character in an ancient Greek style. Changed the clothes added and removed some accessories, changed the face and hair. The rest was just painting over with an digital oilbrush mixing the already existing colours and adding some colours. Beeing an artist is not all the time about the skill but rather about the feeling while creating and trying things out. About painting or drawing from imagination, about trying out different methods and tools. There is no right or wrong, no this is real and this is fake, no this is art and this is not art, no this is better and this not. Every Observer can think of the same result differently. Artists don't have to do all the things that others consider as worthy and better. Beeing an artist is beeing the real you. Do it for yourself. Do it for you to have fun. Art is you. It is a part of you and your interests.•
