No way I was going to have Kai wear the default protag outfit the whole entire run XD I found myself hating the khaki's more than I ever thought I would realize and I'm all about avoiding having Kai wear things that have too much going on with it and the Island Challenge amulet was something that tipped the design over in a way that I was glad I only had to suffer with it for a small length of time.

Now as for some changes, in game? You're supposed to battle the Berry Bois here, but there was absolutely no reason for Kai to do so in story, so I skipped the battle all together and now, Kai is somewhat filling the role of Ilima battling some Team Skull thugs to put them in their place. During the comic I had to do some tap dancing around certain fights, some I outright ignore depending on the outcome and wrote them in such a way that flowed with the story and the fact that the protag is essentially a villain team member. It's going to get interesting when it comes to fighting... Guzma though. :'D;;;;;; (Though honestly, I can't fuckin' wait for that X3)
