The thing about Butterflies is, trying to identify them

I'm pretty sure that, in Googling "green butterfly" I was able to determine this to be an Emerald Swallowtail but if anybody else knows different, do let me know!

Because of a photography workshop (that we weren't participating in) the case with all the Butterfly Chrysalis opened and some of the freshly emerged Butterflies were able to join the others in the Butterfly House. Some were still drying a bit more than they were ready to take off flying, like this one who sat on the indoor ledge of the door of the case

Species: Emerald Swallowtail

Latin name: Papilio Palinurus

Originates from Southeast Asia.

Did you know:

&It is also called the Emerald Peacock and Green-Banded Peacock.

&They are regularly kept in Butterfly Houses around the world.
