This year has been a time for reflection for me and Im guessing many others. So I have a few thoughts to share in relation to this piece I made...

Our world is facing so many challenges right now and its tiring for everyone. But its so scary that in this pivotal time where were living through our final chances of stopping climate change, many world leaders are focused on nothing but personal power and money through spreading divison. All of our eyes are turnt to whos going to lead the world going forward, peoples political views are becoming more extreme, nationalism is growing, and people are worried about going from peace to war. While people are standing up to terrible leaders, the climate changes are continuing without most us noticing, and soon itll be too late. Its heartbreaking that the world doesnt have enough leaders with the will to make sure our planet continues to be livable for humans.

In the end it doesnt matter how much people demonstrate, recycle, stop flying or stop eating meat if the people who actually rule the world arent ever willing to make groundbreaking changes. Im worried about the future for so many reasons, and it seems like the most important thing we can do is vote for good politicians. But lets at least do that! Do your research and use your voice and your vote for good people and then hold them accountable. Humankind needs to work together. Were all one species and should not be fighting eachother while the Earth is left crying.
