This amazing pewter sculpture was brought to life by Joe Corsaro of Dragon's Bait Miniatures, and is available for sale for right now! I did a rough design for the pose and the sculpture was done by the very talented Dave Soderquist. Joe was nice enough to send me some miniatures which I proceeded to base and paint (albeit rather clumsily). It was a big thrill for me to see the character brought to life and turned into a tangible three dimensional object! Even though I am new to miniature painting I had a ton of fun working on these.

Also pictured is Senya with a couple space marines so you can get an idea of her scale, as well as the Citadel brand paints I used on the mini. Colours of note include Kantor Blue of her body suit, Calgar Blue for her arms, Hoeth Blue for the leggings and Fernisian Grey for the lighter panels. I used Averlad Sunset for her hair and Fire Dragon Bright for the orange sections. The skin colour and base where custom mixes, and I hope to apply some hobby grass to base to lighten things up.
