To solve this, Trainers are encouraged to catch them and given the option to keep them or donate them at a secluded ranch.

It is believed that people brought these Pokйmon to the region from a far away northern area where Swinub are native. These Swinub have adapted to the tropical weather and they seem to enjoy the sun. Over the years, these variants populated many forests near mountainous areas. They are always on a search for food. They've grown agitated due to lack of food resources so they go to farms to eat the crops, which has become a huge problem for farmers and markets.
