SANSHERU
ANCIENT REEF

Sansheru is a monster thought to be at multiple thousands of years old- at least.
It lives in a deep-sea trench survives by filtering volcanic gas through its body. The richness in chemicals and nitrogen of its body has prompted thousands of other creatures to set up shop on its shell, and as a result, it now carries an entire coral reef on its back.

This monster is normally completely docile, and is only seen once every decade or so when it surfaces for fresh air- although, if the waters it inhabit are disturbed by pollution, it may become fierce with rage.

The size of this monster is outstanding. It's a giant among giants- the skeleton on its back is thought to belong to a similar reptilian monster, and it's thought that whatever species Sansheru is, this skeleton was meant to be their average size.

Hey, it's this guy again! Remember him? From 2018? No...? Well...ok.
I feel like this is my signature monster, or at least one of the most well-received I've done.
So, I thought it'd be time to do an updated version of his picture- the original is a bit too goofy and chibi for my standards now!

What do you think? Also, of course, the coral reef should really be more detailed, buuut....that's really hard to draw, so gimme a break!! xD
