This is my entry for Radical Racer OC Challenge~!

Lenna is an orphan abandoned in a slum colony, after being taken in by a group of orphans who work together in order to survive in their dangerous home. In order to survive, they participate in a deadly underground race called Destruction Derby using a vehicle they build by stealing and scavenging parts from heavy construction machines, other participants wrecked vehicles and junkyard. Built using one of her sister, Audrey, design, and ingenuity, the oldest and strongest member of their group take a turn to participate in the race.

Although they called it Race, Destruction Derby is basically a Gladiator arena with a finish line. The so-called circuit consists of several unique arenas with unique obstacles that were connected by a road. Most of the vehicles were equipped and designed to destroy and kill each other, and many drivers lost their lives during the race.

The number 8 in the 8Ball name, indicates the number of drivers that lost and died in the race so far. Each time they lost, they tweak and upgrade the vehicle until it becomes what it is now. Lena is the 9th driver. Her only dream is to make enough credits to get her siblings out of the slum colony and into better lives, and she wants to make sure shell the last driver of 8Ball so that none of her siblings has to lose their lives anymore. Thats why, no matter how many times she lost and no matter how severe her injury is, she keeps coming back and continues racing. The bracelet she always wears on her prosthetic arm is a promise bracelet her brothers and sisters made when they decided to participate in the race and change their fate.

8Ball is a heavyweight class vehicle that uses its own weight and gigantic wrecking ball wheel as its weapon. Despite its size and weight, it is actually quite versatile and nimble. By rotating, moving, and changing the rotation, and position of its wheel, it can perform almost acrobatic like moves that allow it to adapt to various situations and opponents. its signature move, Double Comets, are feared by other drivers especially in the road connecting each arena because if they let it gain momentum, it can easily smash and crush everything in its way.
