Cat Girl in SPACE!!

Alright, my 327th color commission and it's been quite a while since I've colored a Joko-Zuno picture, two weeks in fact. So I should change that. It's another space picture as I have got lot of space pictures from him to color but hey they give me some kind of varity for the gallery at least. The character this time is actually someone that we haven't seen in a long time, it's Ichigo Momomiya from Tokyo Mew Mew (KITTY! :3 ) as the last time I colored her she was on an underwater adventure and now she goes into a new frontier, space as she goes out into space wearing the most high tech and adventure spacesuit there is as she becomes *looks at the spacesuit*...a Mewstronaut?...huh, is it just me or does her spacesuit looks pretty close to her regular outfit except that the skirt is removed and her skin is covered in a black layer. I mean too be fair I have colored something like this but that was a long time ago, it's just that when I think of spacesuits this kind of isn't what I imagined. Sure it works, just saying (but I do think the helmet is cute at least ^^)

Can't really think of story as I don't know too much of the series but as you can see, Ichigo made it to space with cat themed stuff like a cat spacesuit and a cat spaceship. The spaceship's airlock is

on the mouth as Ichigo makes a leaping jump and does a cat pose that screams "Hello space! Look at my face!"...But yeah it is a cute way to get yourself into space ^^

Nothing too much to talk much about in terms of coloring. The only thing worth mentioning is that Ichigo got a new color pallete as the past colorings with her I used colors from the TV show but like I've mentioned several times that won't be the last, shows that don't have a proper remaster are harder to color and this show doesn't have that luck compared to other classic shows. I did however found a very good image of Ichigo in her Mew Mew form and I've used the colors for this picture and the results speaks for itself as it came out very good ^^

That's basically it for the picture but timing on this couldn't be (almost) perfect as this year is actually the 20th anniversary of Tokyo Mew Mew and they are going to celebrate big with a new Manga that's coming out in the future. I know a friend that saw that all these magical girl shows are getting revived in some way whether it be a remake or sequel and wishes that this series gets revived in some way and sure enough they are. Glad to see your wish come true DrDark
