Bueno, ahн estб. Alopias son los tiburones zorro, y se supone que en el Mioceno existieron formas gigantes con dientes mбs grandes y aserrados, por lo que habrнan podido cazar presas mбs grandes. Algunos de йstos tiburones zorro pueden haber sido tan grandes como el tiburуn blanco moderno. Si tenнan ya desarrollado el lуbulo de la cola como sus parientes modernos es otro debate.

Well there it is. Alopias are the thresher sharks, or as they're called in several languages, fox sharks. In the Miocene apparently there were giant forms with larger, more serrated teeth so they may have hunted larger prey. Some of them may have grown at least as large as today's great white sharks. Whether or not they had the extremely elongated tail lobe is another question.
