You return to the familiar scene you started your journey in, the dark stranger nowhere in sight. You turn back to watch the setting sun, seeing this place with newfound respect and fondness, and you sigh wistfully at the thought of returning to your home beneath the waves. As you turn to leave, you spot something; a small glass figurine sits atop the shoreline, twinkling in the dwindling light. It is clearly meant to be you. You stare for a while before deciding you'll take it with you, regardless of whether it is meant as a mockery of you or a very thoughtful gift.

Phew! Chapter 4 completed! I think the palette I used works really well for a sunset, though I do still struggle picking what colours to use for the environment. Maybe someday soon I will be confident enough with developed shapes and shading to try a city scene one day. It's been fun, though - now to figure out what kind of enchantment to put on Sooth as reward for being my model through all this!
