hello everyone! jawn here with the most spectacular motivation in the world right now. i could not scratch the itch of wanting to paint no matter how much work i did and i am!!/will be making a (hopefully) 12 advent lineup of various species of mine uvu7 there will be guest artists (including my roomates) who will be designing since i actually cannot do all 12 myself since i'm already stretching myself pretty thin. but my goodness? i had so much fun painting. i absolutely cannot believe how inspired/in love i am by/with Sapphu-Adopts and the two artists there, they are such huge inspirations for me and the main reason i wanted to paint. it was relaxing being able to render something like this but i know i have a lot to learn. but for my first time rendering a character i am really satisfied!
so i know you guys will be interested in the 12 advent lineup and i'm very excited as well! there will be designs available the day of that will be available to purchase immediately (i will put up a list with $$ amount needed to claim) and there will be a few others! i don't think i'll be able to paint all the ones i want to put up but if i get the urge i might have another one or two painted like this, its really fun <:3c but most of my species will be making an appearance!! this kanti is a precursor and doesn't count towards the 12 designs. (current species i'm sure will be there: skullcracker, kanti, mantibab, everything else is fair game and will be determined at a later date. themes for the designs will be released within the next day or two uvu7)
winner will get full res image + image without background and text! if winner would like me to sketch some magic patch options and owuld like the kanti to have a mane i can do that! (not on the painted image since its painted and doesn't have layers besides character/background/text)

a young kanti that was born with dual colored horns! this striping is a rare occourence and is always a reason for celebration. this kanti seems to have an extremely festive spirit, wearing wreathes and bows to celebrate the holiday season!
this cute baby is a result of very lucky parents!
rare traits -dual colored magic patches (magic patches come in many shapes and sizes, all of them haven't been figured out yet but it may be a stripe along the back of the neck to shoulder patches that allow a mane to grow (like the original variant of kantis! having a magic patch does not mean you have to get rid of the mane on your kanti) (rare! you may have the magic patches be striped like the horns uvu7) -velvet tail - this smooth velvety tail ends in a small tuft of fur
