Nymph turned to face him with well-composed dignity. Her tentacles had been too susceptible to the dryness on land and she'd changed them into the legs of a spider again.

Nymph's smile spread across her face with a malevolence that Rakar found attractive. I have waited for this longer than you can imagine.
