These adorable turtle cakes (s‰њ) are made with peanut powder, black sesame seeds, salt and sugar.


In Chinese culture turtles are frequently depicted in popular culture as easygoing, patient, and wise creatures. Due to their long lifespan, slow movement, sturdiness, and wrinkled appearance, they are an emblem of longevity and stability in many cultures around the world. I grew up eating these delicious cakes...I thought i would take a photo and share with you guys
