Haha, late Halloween post. I felt like taking another stab (ha!) at needle felting, since I haven't made anything since Puck (ack, it's been almost a year!). I had the idea of making a skeletal dragon, and of course, me being me, I started with that basic concept and then just started putting things together, hoping it would work out in the end. And I think it did! I actually managed to finish her in time for Halloween, just didn't get around to posting her on DA until now.

This time around, I knew to use a wire armature, so this little dragon is actually gently posable! Haha, this is so exciting to me. xP Using an armature also helped me to get the proportions looking halfway decent, though I still need to figure out how to felt actual toes. I'm a little annoyed that she has nubbins for feet. xD But otherwise very happy with the result! _{And actually, this isn't even her final form. More on that later...}

Approximately 7 inches long and 4 inches tall. Created via needle felting from wool roving, wire pipe-cleaner armature. Took about 7 hours.
