"The main inspiration for these photos were the themes of isolation and outsiders, while paying tribute to the Horror and Thriller genres. The location, which is usually foggy, seemed to provide an interesting visual effect, reminiscent of classic low light scenes from John Carpenter's horror films, such as "The Fog" or "Halloween". The composition also adds to the effect by keeping the scene enigmatic and unsettling, something I relate to the French TV show "Les Revenants". Shooting these was quite fun, mostly improvised and handheld, using a 50mm lens and took about an entire morning. In the end, the location is the star of the show and I glad it worked out beyond what I had expected. Hop
