Another project of the league "Oh god what I'm doing here?!" - Love it!

I love barnowls - they are known as guardians of the house and great signs of good luck here in north germany, and besides they are just such gorgeous birds" title="Love" />

Interesting thing is that the barnowl can be found nearly everywhere on earth - from Haiti over the southern Sahara to Australia.

This is my contribution for the currently running crafting-challenge from the great -> fav.me/d79ln0i
Theme was "Orange, cream, purple and grey" , "High Fantasy" or "my OCs" -
so I combined the first two themes we could choose from and made something I consider fantasy with the wished colors
The glasscabochon is amethyst purple, only I could'nt catch it in the photo >.<
Also some details get lost, since its pretty 3D, so you can't see her whole wings and that -.-


The owl is sculpted from SuperSculpey on a brass base, then painted with Citadel-Colors. The eyes are made from black glass beads for a more realistic look
