Sometimes you just have the urge to paint a certain subject. You feel some sort of connection to the elements, though its hard to put words to what those feelings are. I knew my elements were to be a tiger, some gorgeous peonies and a uniting darkness. I've always been drawn to darkness, it has an elegant sort of mystery that appeals to me.
I'm still trying to dig through the emotive symbolism and extract my own little personal meaning for this one.

btw, these are nothing related to my habits (I know what you thinking, no, I like to "torture" people but not this way hihi), I bought tons of these on a whim and thought it might be nice to"brighten" my daily outfits hahahaha

Traditional drawing of cherries (or: a little traditional still life for practicing)! I hope you like it!
I took a photo of this drawing and included some colored pencils, because of the upcoming new thumbnail grid (no titles below the thumbnails... pretty bad especially for realism if you ask me
). Beta testers (like me, because I just wanted to get a star next to my name instead of that strange lettering) can already see the new grid in a few parts of the site, by the way. I like the new grid, but the missing title which you only see when hovering over a thumbnail and a few other small issues still bug me. For me a title can sometimes be a really important part of the artwork.

FR : Sur la planиte Kepler 22-B se trouvent les jardins du Temps entretenus par les moines du sanctuaire de l'Anachronie. Au delа d'offrir des buissons finement taillйs, les jardins du Temps ont la particularitй daccueillir une anomalie temporelle oщ le temps est dйcalй de six heures sur un petit pйrimиtre. Time Gardens are maintained by the monks of the temple of Anachronie on the planet Kepler 22-B. Beyond offering finely trimmed bushes, Time Gardens have the distinction of hosting a temporal anomaly where time is shifted by six hours in a small area. Local engineers have managed to compartmentalize this anomaly in a corridor of the garden without incurring severe jet lag. The origin of this temporal anomaly remains unexplained for now. Some scientists suspect the possibility of a black hole spectrum.
