Future Producers that are into Music Production i am going to give you three tips that you should do when entering the future industry as a Producer.
Tip Number 1 Set Up A Myspace Account & Imeem As a music producer or artist myspace is one of the most essential social networking tools that is available for free and if your music is great you would have the whole world coming to your page every single day. Building an internet fanbase is essential in the music industry currently because of the internet downloading of mp3's. More people tend to buy mp3's over CD's so your digital fanbase is as important as your physical. Imeem is also pretty important because it will boost your songs on the top of google, so if a fan types in your name you are pretty much likely to have all your songs available for listening.
Tip Number 2 Get Some Photographs Taken They do not have to be perfect, but people do like to see what the artist/producer looks like. Don't hind behind a logo and if your not ready to yet, just make sure you do when you are! ESSENTIAL!!
Tip Number 3 Be Different Right now, I'm sure since you have started producing music.. a few of your friends have or vice versa. Be different from them, learn how to create your own style by doing different things. Try not to just copy what your friends are doing because it sounds good, set the trend. If you can run with the trend and shine from it, why not.. but still be different.
