As we begin our transition back on campus, the following offices are also available for limited on-campus services: Admissions, Counseling, Disabilities Resource Center (DRC), Financial Aid, Records, Student Life (only for Student IDs and calculators), and Veterans and Military Success Services.

After meeting with an advisor, you should follow the degree plan for the new major as advised. Many different offices and colleges provide advising at UCF, and you can visit myUCF to find your assigned advisor. We provide critical information about academic programs and degree requirements, education abroad, leadership development, major choices, career options, policies and procedures, and campus resources.
Prospective students should contact Admissions for information about becoming a student. Therefore, students that have less than 13 credits are required to meet with Academic Advisor to discuss their Program of Study and plan their semester courses. At this point, all academic advising will take place online.
Students who were previously enrolled at South, but not in the last three years will not be able to log into the online scheduling system and need to call the Advising Center at (206) 934-5387. Finally, track how much financial aid colleges awarded to students like you using our Financial Aid Tracker Then, once you've received your financial aid offers, use Compare Awards to determine the best financial aid package.

Our goal is to help students make informed decisions about college. If you're unsure which campus to contact email LSC-Advising@ and we can help you get connected to the right office. Advisors are available to meet with students virtually to provide support on topics like career and academic planning, transitioning to a university, and how to enhance college success skills.

Honors College students are encouraged to meet, as usual, with their Honors College Academic Advisors for direct advising services. Working with Collegewise online means that you'll be meeting with an admissions expert. All Academic Advising Appointments and Drop-In Advising for current USF students will be offered virtually through Microsoft Teams (please see instructions below).
Institutions are faced with declining enrollments, students' rebellion against paying the same tuition for online instruction as for residential classes and a loss of other funding streams from either endowments or state allotments. Your academic advisor or counselor will help keep you on track as you work towards completing your degree.
This shift allows advisors to recommend specific tasks to empower students to self-serve with the safety net of a future appointment to tackle any emergent challenges that arise. You will have the opportunity to talk or meet with an advisor in the College during summer registration and then will receive ongoing personalized advising from a member of the Gies Business team of advisors.
