The Silly BooDilly: Searching for New Paths to Explore

artful recycling from fabrics too good to waste - beautiful jacket with an obvious history, worked in the Japanese 'boro' folk fabric technique Born out of necessity and coincidence – Boro is creating new uses for discarded textiles by layering pieces of cloth, attaching them together with sashiko stitching and patching them with a diversity of cloths in a freely artistic way. Best kind of recycling. A Japanese Indigo Boro.
