I am the last man standing. I am the one who sits alone. The room echoes with emptiness, and the whistle of air flows through
Everything has changed. With life and birth comes death. Nothing is forever. Eventually even the most enduring such as I will die. Perhaps by me writing now, im trying to prevent the inevitable. Will this come to an end? But I want to reach my anniversary of this journal.
Besides, changes isnt a bad thing, its only bad that I havnt moved on to newer ground.
I need to stop living in the intangible, and live in the actual surroundings of me. My glory days of chat are gone. No one remains. All good things come to an end. People change, so I need to aswell.
I just hope i'm not forgotten. Will even one soul remember the conversations we held, and my ideas I had...
I dont know if I need to move on, or restart my previous life, ive been living since 2005.
Im still young, and can be noticed, I just ask ppl, pls dont forget me.

Wow

I cant believe, i've come back to find this place so untouched. Everything is as I left it. I like it. It brings back memories of last year, and soon it will be an anniversairy, 1 year since I started my journal! My memories are still kept here.
Why havn't I been here for so long, and now I decide to write....
Cause I do care, I'm showing I havn't forgotten this chunk of memory I have since decembre 2006.
Maybe I should move on, but no, because when one day, I will remember I can come here and smile looking at myself as I was in 2006.

Piece out journal and to all loved ones.

If I start properly tomorrow, to prepare, i will be ontop of it all. But i need to first focus on all my unfinished tutorials. Plus EVERYDAY MUST BE AC SCI DAy. A question a day will keep the evil actuarial lecturer away. So if I combine my time right. BULLSEYE.

So from tomorrow I monitor my progress!

It is interesting what I think so far. I havn't read enough to be able to make clever commments, but I would like to bring up some issues.
What it time actually?
- We live in a constant hour glass called earth. Everything is frozen, relative to a calender, and watches, set internationally by different time zones.
-Sure we look at hour watches and cellphones, to see what time it is, but actually are we measuring. Because its difficult to tell.
-If i'm moving, relative to you, much faster, say you live in a city, and im on a superjet, my watch is only measuring time in the plane.
-We can agree on a meeting time when we land, but did you know time slows down in your closed system, if you are moving faster, relative to someone else.
- If i lived on Jupiter for example, which moves slower, I would die many years after, when i call you from jupiter. Although i myself live my 85 years on jupiter, on earth, this time interval appears much slower. Our 2 clocks we use dont coincide. We are living in a different time frame.
-So total time is difficult to measure. There is no single time measurer which can represent time in the universe.
- If you knew how fast we were moving now, you would faint.

How fast are we moving:
The Complex Motion of the Earth
•How fast is the Earth spinning? 0.5 km/sec
•How fast is the Earth revolving around the Sun? 30 km/sec
•How fast is the Solar System moving around the Milky Way Galaxy? 250 km/sec
•How fast is our Milky Way Galaxy moving in the Local Group of galaxies? 300 km/sec

Time. , The fact that events take place and things have duration in a dimension called "time" is immediately familiar in human experience. Yet the more deeply the idea of time is explored, the more difficult it becomes. The way man conceives time has changed over the centuries. Today his understanding of time derives from the most advanced fields of physics and astronomy. The first part of this article reviews the changing concepts of the nature of time. The second part describes the ways in which time is determined and measured.

1. The Idea of Time

One of the peculiarities of modern civilization is the importance it attaches to the idea of time. Time is considered a kind of linear progression measured by the clock and the calendar. The tendency is to regard this idea as a necessity of thought, but acquaintance with the beliefs of other civilizations shows that this is not the case.

a) Evolution of the Idea of Time

Generally speaking, time was not a concept of primary importance in ancient thought. The Greeks tended to regard the cosmic process as a cyclic alternation of opposing forces rather than as a continual evolution. For example, A. stated that even the tendencies of heavy bodies to fall and light bodies to rise are all part of a cyclic process, so that these apparently straight-line motions are in fact circular[Image]like the perpetual circular motion of the heavenly bodies, which had neither beginning nor end.

A. also held that time and motion were independent, movement being measured by time and time by movement. He recognized that time cannot cease, whereas motion can[Image]except for the motion of the heavens [Image]and concluded that time must be associated closely with this motion, which he regarded as the perfect example of uniform motion.

Belief in the cyclic nature of time was widespread in antiquity, and it gave rise to the idea of the Great Year. There were two versions of this idea. In one, the Great Year was considered simply as the period required for the sun, moon, and planets to attain the same positions relative to one another as they had held at some previous given time. This was the sense in which Plato used the idea. On the other hand, the Great Year for H. signified the period of the world from its formation to its destruction and rebirth. These two versions were combined by the Stoic philosophers. The Stoics believed that when the heavenly bodies returned to the same relative positions they had at the beginning of the world, everything would be restored as it was before and the entire cycle would be renewed in every detail.

Early Christian leaders rigorously disputed the traditional cyclical view of time. Prominent among them was St. A. He laid great emphasis on the idea that the crucifixion of C. must be regarded as a unique event, not subject to repetition, implying that time is linear rather than cyclic. He was also the pioneer of the study of internal, or mental, time. Dissatisfied with A's close association of time with motion, St A. chose to regard time as an activity of the "soul," or mind, endowed with powers of memory, attention, and anticipation.

In the scientific revolution of the 17th century, I. N. took the view that time exists independently not only of human minds but also of all material objects, and that it "flows" uniformly of its own accord. On the other hand his contemporary L., the German philosopher and mathematician, regarded time simply as the order of succession of phenomena.

The problem of reconciling these different ideas of time was tackled by the German philosopher I. K. in the 18th century. K. was an enthusiastic believer in N's natural philosophy, but he rejected N's idea of time. Instead he argued that time is simply a feature of the way men's minds visualize the external world and is not a characteristic of external reality itself. He reasoned that if time were a characteristic of the world, equally good arguments could be advanced to show both that the world originated and did not originate in time. In view of this contradiction, K decided that time does not apply to the universe but only to the way in which men think about the universe.

b) Concept of Time in Relativity

In the 19th century, as a result of the arguments advanced by geological and biological evolutionists, the modern idea of time as linear advancement finally prevailed over the older, cyclic conceptions. [1] The tempo of everyday life was speeded up, and the temporal aspects of existence were increasingly regarded as of predominating importance. It therefore came as a shock when, in 1905, A. E. pointed out an unsuspected difficulty in the prevailing idea of time and concluded that time depends on the observer in a way not previously imagined, even by K.

It had been taken for granted[Image]both by those who followed K's ideas and those who did not[Image]that is a single worldwide time order and that each instant of this order corresponds to a definite contemporaneous state of the whole universe. This, as Einstein observed, was only an assumption. The order in which events are perceived is not always the order in which they are believed to occur. For a simple example, lightning is seen before thunder is heard, but both are manifestations of the same electric discharge in the atmosphere. Yet until E. raised the question, it was universally assumed as self-evident that when the rules are found that determine the time of each perception by the time of the event giving rise to it, all events thus perceived must necessarily fall into a definite time-sequence that is the same for all observers.

After much thought on the measurement of time and motion, Einstein came to realize that a person may have an immediate awareness of the simultaneity of two events in his personal experience but have no such awareness when one event is directly experienced and the other occurs at a distance. For example, suppose an explosion were to occur on Mars. An observer on earth records the instant at which he sees the flash. If light traveled instantaneously, the instant of observation on earth would coincide precisely with the instant the explosion was recorded by a hypothetical observer on Mars. However, there is definite experimental evidence that light takes time to travel, so the terrestrial observer must in fact "correct" the time recorded on his watch to make allowance for the time taken by the light to reach him.[2]

In principle, the velocity of light can be determined only if the way to measure time at all places that it traverses is known. But this is precisely what no longer can be known, once the traditional assumption of worldwide simultaneity for all observers is abandoned. To escape this vicious circle, Einstein decided to jettison the classical theory of the measurement of space and time and begin on a totally different basis.

The classical theory, E. realized, leads to absurdity when one tries to imagine what would happen when traveling through space at the same velocity as a beam of light. According to the idea of relative motion based on classical theory, the beam of light would then appear to the observer to be at rest. And a vibrating electromagnetic field at rest is a concept in conflict with electromagnetic theory, which E. saw no reason to reject. Instead he concluded that the laws of physics[Image]including those concerning the propagation of light[Image]must remain the same for all observers in uniform motion [3],, however fast they may be moving. In particular, the velocity of light in empty space must be the same for all such observers. Since this velocity is finite, it is the classical idea of relative motion that must be modified.

A curious result of E.'s theory is that, in general, observers in relative motion must assign different times to the same event [4]. Only observers at relative rest can assign the same time to the event. The discrepancy can be illustrated by saying that a clock in relative motion between two other clocks will measure a smaller time interval than will the two clocks at rest, as it passes from one clock to the other. For velocities encountered in everyday life the difference is negligible, but the nearer the relative velocity of the moving clock is to that of light, the greater the difference will be. The relativistic effect has been amply confirmed by experiments with elementary particles moving at nearly the speed of light.

c) Time, Space-Time, and Causality

The idea of the relativity of time[Image]that is, that time depends on the observer and that there is no absolute measure of duration[Image]entails the relativity of spatial measurement as well. Due to the universal character of the velocity of light, the distance between two places can be measured by the time it takes light to travel from one place to the other. This measurement in turn depends on the observer.

This similarity between space and time is part of the new universal concept introduced by the German mathematician Hermann M. in 1908. If an interval of time is regarded as a kind of "distance" in the time dimension, it can be converted into a distance by being multiplied by c, the velocity of light, thus obtaining the distance light would travel in that time. If the time difference between any two events is T, according to a particular observer, the associated spatial interval is cT. Then if R is the actual distance in space between these events, it can be shown that although both cT and R depend on the particular observer, the difference between cT2 and R2 has the same value for all observers in uniform relative motion. This difference is the square of what is called the space-time interval between the two events. Space-time is a four-dimensional analog of three-dimensional space, the fourth dimension being the dimension of time.

If the universe is pictured as a system of events in space-time, then the times and spaces of different observers are simply different "cross sections" or individual perspectives of this system. [5] Although the space-time interval between two events is the same according to all observers at rest or in uniform motion, it is split up by different observers into different space and time components.

The idea of space-time also leads to the new concept of forward and backward light-cones associated with a given event E. Each of these cones has the vertex E, and the cone surfaces are formed by the space-time paths of all conceivable electromagnetic rays passing through that vertex. The forward cone is directed toward the future; the backward cone converges toward E from the past. Only those events lying inside the forward or backward light-cone of a given event E are in the future or past of that event in any absolute sense. The temporal relationship of all other events to E depends on the observer. Thus for a given event F lying outside the light-cones of E, observers can be found who will regard F as later than E, simultaneous with E, or earlier than E. No such ambiguity arises in the classical theory of time, in which the temporal relationship of any two events is the same for all observers.

The concept of light-cones has had a profound influence on the concept of causality because those events that lie inside each other's light cones can be in absolute causal relationship with one another. Einstein later extended his ideas about space-time to include cases in which observers are in accelerated motion in gravitational fields.

d) Time and the Universe in Modern Cosmology

Although the classical concept of universal time has been undermined, modern cosmologists have reintroduced the idea of a worldwide time that is common to an important but restricted class of observers. According to most cosmological theories, there is a preferential time scale at each place in the universe. This scale is associated with the "local" cosmic standard of rest determined by the "local" bulk of distribution of matter [Image]for example, the center of mass of the stars in our galaxy. The time scales of the observers associated with these local standards of rest, throughout the universe, "fit together" to form one worldwide cosmic time.(note T.O.: compare this to the cakra tempometer-design at the designspage)

It is with reference to this cosmic time that objective meaning can be given to concepts such as the age of the earth, the sun, our galaxy, and even the universe itself. Thus despite the theory of relativity the concept of a cosmic time scale can be retained, even though it is not the time scale of every observer.

According to ideas based on the spectroscopic study of light from distant galaxies, the universe is believed to be expanding, which may imply further limitations on the human idea of time. If the rate of expansion is uniform, the age of the universe would be about 10 billion years, or about twice the age of the sun and the earth. If the rate of expansion is decreasing, the age would be somewhat less. However, if it is increasing, not only would the age be somewhat greater, but there also would be regions receding from our own galaxy at velocities greater than that of light. Hence no light or any other physical influence from such regions could ever reach our galaxy, and no events in the regions could find a place in our time scale. They would lie beyond our "time horizon." Therefore no time scale could comprise all events, and "worldwide" cosmic time would in fact be restricted to events within each observer's time horizon.

Today in gym, there you came. U wonder around, then come to me. And use the machine next to me...
Ok fine, it maybe was coincidence...
u left for somewhere else..., but wanted to find a machine by my at the weightd section. There was none, so u left.
Then u came back...
I can u see out the corner of my eye. You look at me, and you can see I look at you, when you are doing something...
I go upstairs and prepare to another section. You were saying goodbye to your friends, and it looked like you would leave, but you followed me.
Worst of all, it was an empty floor, where i did my situps. You came, and did the same near me. You were showing off your thin, athletic physique... i could see...
I felt so weird, u had blonde hair, blue eyes, and a really nice body and face.
I just left to change in the change rooms, and go, i couldnt take it anymore.
I went up, and you were just looking at me.
I came out the change rooms 10 mins later, and you were standing outside the girls's ones...
Were u waiting???
Then i started going down, and you followed so close behind me!
I turned around and our eyes met. That felt very wierd.
Then i stepped out, and started walking out the car park, but you followed me all the way out the park, before finally i left the grounds and you turned away to your car.
That whole gym evening was so wierd.
I hope I don't meet you again by chance there, because i wouldn't survive another round again=)
We did this following and staring thing without saying a single word.
Can you see through and in my heart, or do you just like the way I look? The clothes I wear, the way I train??
I hope I never meet you again,( I dont mean it in a bad way, I PROMISE)

Its just that, it was hypnotizing, and I felt so unprepared and watched.

As far as I understand Hitoshi's theory of time, what he says is that there is no universal time which is governing the whole cosmos; in other words, there is no beginning nor end to the universe. Time should be recognized only locally. When we pick up some particular phenomena going on under certain circumstances involving certain participants (no matter what they are or who they are), only then we feel we can measure time. Hitoshi claims that time as a scale does not "exist" as we look into the inner cosmos which is in ourselves. Nobody is conscious of time usually. When we pay special attention to "change" of something, we try to explain it by referring to time. Time, however, is most intricate creation of "modern" human beings. Would that make any sense to you? Or do you think such a statement is a total nonsense? What is time for you? Let us know that.

Time, what is it? Where is it? We made it up so long ago. What if time where space, and space where time? What if our lives which we beleive are to be say 70 to 80 years, was just a fraction of a second our time. Im so confused, only if we could travel the universe, then could we start research. But untill then time to me is everything I am and do. Untill next TIME over and out.

Suppose that we have two identical and synchronized light clocks and we send one of them on a round trip around the world, and after its return, we observe that the two clocks show different times. If we then ask an intelligent layman about his judgement of these clocks, we are likely to hear that these clocks are no good clocks. They do not produce a valid measurement of what common people, in agreement with Galilei and Newton, consider as "time". Einstein considered it impossible to measure this common sense time in a physically objective way, but now we can do it, using a "space-time odometer" in addition to a light clock. I hope this will make it possible for physicists to switch back to common sense.

I feel that there must be some "real" time but I agree that it should only be defined locally. Experiments that confirmed special relativistic "time dilation" using radioactive clocks suggest to me that nature does indeed behave in such a way that seems consistent with a notion of time.
I think that the non-uniformity of time in special relativity also leads to some misleading statements. People often say time is running slower. What does it mean for time to have a velocity? This is ridiculous of course.

Is the speed of light slowing down? And if it is, as computations taken over the past 150 or so years seems to indicate, does this mean that our measure of time is skewed, too? Just a thought to brighten our days.

Aren't time dilations conjugate to space (length) dilations ? Can't you look at these either way ? In this sense, isn't relativity an uncertainty relation like Heisenberg's ?
Time cannot possibly exist by itself, as a thing in itself. Time is a symptom of awareness, but then it has to exist if there is any reality to the universe. So what came first - Time or Space ?

Sciences and Time
From other viewpoints, sciences are founded on the notion of time. Sciences cannot be called "sciences" if they lose their descriptions of nature according to some time-coordinates. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, ..., these are the descriptions of nature or human beings along some time-coordinates. Without the notion of time, these academic areas cannot exist as academic activities.

Time has been, however, a notion whose existence nobody doubts. These academic activities have been assuming the existence of some time-coordinates, and people speak about things as if they move or change following the order prescribed by time. But what is time? Is it an existence in the same sense as the existence of other objective things? Time is not such an existence: Time does not appear until we measure it by some equipments, i.e., by clocks. Time is just a movement of the hands of clocks, and time is not an a priori existence which measures motion. Quite contrarily, just the motion of hands of analogue clocks, or just the change of figures of digital clocks measures time.

The definition of local time is based on this observation in addition to the afore-mentioned physical considerations. It is defined as a local notion effective only in each local system and is equivalent to the quantum mechanical evolution of that local system. By the locality of this notion of time, it is compatible with two basic principles of general theory of relativity in the first place.

The considerations on these problems are described in my recent papers and lectures in the following list. The lecture in the winter semester of 1996-1997 delivered to graduate and undergraduate students of liberal arts is not written in a form available here. However, the main content of the lecture is presented in my paper "Quantum Mechanics and Relativity --Their Unification by Local Time--" cited in the list as "Time IV." These are written in English except for one paper in Japanese, which is mainly concerned with the question "What should be done in Mathematical Sciences?" but on the deeper level, is related with my notion of time as suggested in the following introduction.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Introduction:
As an introductory question, let us consider the light clock which Einstein used in his definition of an ideal clock in special theory of relativity. A light clock consists of two mirrors stood parallel to each other with light running mirrored to each other continuously. The time is then measured as the number of counts that the light hits the mirrors. This clock is placed stationary to an inertial frame of reference, and the time of the frame is defined by the number of the light-hits of this clock. Insofar as the light is considered as a classical wave and the frame is an inertial one which has no acceleration, this clock can measure the time of the frame. One feature of this clock is that the time is defined by utilizing the distance between the two mirrors and the velocity of light in vacuum which is assumed as an absolute constant in special theory of relativity. Thus time is measured only after the distance between the mirrors and the velocity of light are given, and it is not that time measures the motion or velocity of light wave.

This light clock occupies a certain volume in space, and if an acceleration exists, the mirrors in the clock should be distorted according to general theory of relativity. In this case the number of counts of light between two mirrors cannot be regarded as giving the time of a certain definite frame of reference. To any point in the clock, different metrical tensor is associated, and one cannot determine the time of which point the clock measures. Here appears a problem of the size of the actual clock which cannot be infinitesimally small. In this sense, the operational definition of the clock in General Theory of Relativity (NOT Special Theory of Relativity) has a problem. It seems that this problem may be avoided by an interpretation that the general theory of relativity is an approximation of reality, and the theory gives a sufficiently good approximation as experiments and astronomical observations show. This problem, however, will be a cause of difficulty when one tries to quantize the field equation of general theory of relativity, for the expected quantized theory should be covariant under the diffeomorphism which transforms a point of a space-time manifold to a point of the manifold, and no point can accommodate any clocks with actual sizes. This defect of the field equation constitutes a fundamental theoretical problem in quantizing general theory of relativity.

The problem here lies primarily in the assumption that any matter can be described by the notion of contiuous field, which allows the description of the universe as a solution of the Einstein's field equation. Any assumption of continuous field leads one to think that elementary ingredients of any matter should be sizeless points. We thus identify the problem to reside in the Einstein's field equation by the primary reason that it is based on the notion of matter field. We have also subsidiary reasons to abandon the field equation. One of them is that to solve the equation requires one to know all of the data about the matter distribution in the universe in advance of solving the equation, which is equivalent to getting a solution of the equation before "solving" the equation.

To have sound foundations to resolve these problems, we therefore have to find, firstly, a definition of time which should be given through length (or positions) and velocity (or motion) to accord with the spirit of Einstein's light clock, and secondly, our notion of time should have a certain "good" residence just as the inertial frame of reference in special theory of relativity accommodates the light clock.

As a residence, I prepare a Euclidean quantum space, and within that space I define a quantum-mechanical clock which measures the common parameter of quantum-mechanical motions of particles in a (local) system consisting of a finite number of particles. Since clocks thus defined are proper to each local system, and local systems are mutually independent as concerns the relation among the coordinates of these systems, we can impose relativistic change of coordinates among them. And the change of coordinates gives a relation among those local systems which yields relativistic quantum-mechanical Hamiltonians, explaining the actual observations.

These are technical explanations. Behind these, I have an image of the universe as a whole within which is all and which cannot be grasped. As such an existence we cannot impose any global time on the universe by nature. The universe inasmuch as it is the universe, it is nonsense to assume any global time-coordinates for the total universe. I thus take a universe without time.

A Solution of Unification of Quantum Mechanics and Special Theory of Relativity:
Now we are in a position to give a solution of unifying quantum mechanics (QM) and classical mechanics (CM) governed by special theory of relativity, which I have arrived at on February 15, 2001, whose precise formulation is given in time IX paper.

The relation that I have announced above to be assumed between the inside and the outside of a local system is described as follows:

Let u be the internal velocity of the particles inside a local system and let v be the velocity of the (center of mass of the) local system relative to the observer. Then we impose the following two conditions on the relation between the two velocities:

Axiom 1.

|u|2+|v|2=c2, where c is the velocity of light in vacuum.
Axiom 2.

The magnitude of the internal momentum mu is constant independent of the velocity v relative to the observer:
m2|u|2=m02c2,

where m0 is the rest mass of the local system and m is the observed mass of the local system moving with velocity v relative to the observer.

These two axioms are an extension of Einstein's principle of the constancy of the velocity of light in vacuum and are a version of T. S. Natarajan's postulates IV and V in the paper Do Quantum Particles have a Structure? where Natarajan considers both of internal and external worlds are classical. We consider the internal world quantum mechanical. Thus the above axioms need a justification in order for these to have a consistent meaning, which discussion is given in Time IX paper and will be sketched below. This will then yield a unification of quantum mechanics and special theory of relativity.

The idea is simple. From Axioms 1 and 2, we first note

m02c2+m2|v|2=m2c2,
which yields

m = m0 /{1-(v/c)2}1/2 ( > or = m0 ).
As we have discussed above, we can define a clock inside each local system as the one that has an actual size. A best definition of a clock of a local system would be the evolution of the local system itself: exp(-2pi itH/h), where H is the quantum mechanical Hamiltonian of the system; pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter (Ludolphian number); i is the square root of -1; and h is the Planck's constant. Then the local time of the system is defined by the t on the exponent of the clock exp(-2pi itH/h). Then we can show that this t equals the time defined by using a clock of any part of the system up to the error that is consistent with the uncertainty principle. (See Time I, Time IV, etc.)

If the time of a local system is defined as such, we can express the motion of particles inside the system by the solution f (t)=exp(-2pi itH/h)f (0) of Shroedinger equation:

(h/(2pi i )) (d/dt)f (t) + Hf (t) = 0.

When we think a free Hamiltonian H of one particle with mass m :

H = P2/(2 m ) = - (h/(8 pi2 m)) Laplacian,

where P is a quantum mechanical momentum identified with (h/(2pi i ))(del/delx1 , del/delx2 , del/delx3 ), we can move, by using Fourier transformation, to the momentum space and we are able to identify H with a real number L/m . Likewise, a general Hamiltonian can be identified, by using spectral representation theorem for selfadjoint operators, with a real number L/m .

In this identification our axioms 1 and 2 become:

Axiom 1. 2L /m2 + |v|2 = c2.

Axiom 2. 2L = m02c2.

Thus the clock of a local system, when moved to spectral representation space, becomes

exp(- 2pi itL/(hm )).

Then the clock of a local system has a period:

p (v) = hm /L = 2hm /(m02c2),

which shows that our QM clock has the natural property that is expected for usual clocks. This period takes the minimum value when v = 0:

p (0) = hm0 /L = 2h /(m0c2).

We call this p (0) the least period of time (LPT) of the local system. This is thought as giving a sort of "quantization of time" of a local system. Now by the above relation between m and m0, we have

p (v) = hm /L = p (0) /{1-(v/c)2}1/2 ( > or = p (0) ).

Thus time, measured by our QM clock, of a local system moving with velocity v relative to the observer becomes slow with the rate

{1-(v/c)2}1/2,

which is exactly the same as the rate that the special theory of relativity gives.

These mean that the QM clock defined as the QM evolution of a local system follows the classical relativistic change of coordinates of space-time. Thus giving a consistent unification of QM and special relativistic CM.

We can also give a relation between Planck mass and Planck time by using LPT (see time IX paper).

I dont know anymore...

Plz, someone turn back the hands of time, slow down,
run to heaven and put a spanner in the giant clock in the sky.
This long weekend, i just can't...
No time to relax, study, shop, do something, do nothing. Why is time so short??? This year, is just a race against time! Need to do this, and that, cool.... but I have no time!!!!
I a wishing star hears my plea, I beg, I wish upon a falling star, pls can I have more time, more of it, more slowly, pls i beg. Now tomorrow I have so many things to do....

The coal is running out...
soon the steam engine will run out, and stop.
tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock
im gonna post now an entry about time....
this most fascinating, neglected dimension which is so abstract, and difficult to understand, and measure fully....

Yes friday is holiday, and following tuesday is too=)
( so if I can make monday "become" a holiday, it becomes a proper one)
Stat section B is easy man, but im commited this weekend to mostly likely catching up, and putting myself in a strong position=)
The fun will be rewarding =)
Cheese and wine on on saturday??
I hope so!!
I'm thinking of uploading a song, but im so lazy now, and too tired, one day, maybe one day...
Peace out.

Mathematical Statistics was good, section B in on Wednesday.
Ever since the dreaded Actuarial Science paper, i've experienced a strong performance in my tests.
How easy your confidence is broken, and how hard it is to build it up again...
These long days of dedication are no joke, I've sacrificed many days studying, to be the best.

Hmmm, and interesting day!!! Dirk came today and apologized!!!! He said he was sorry he was so rude yesterday, (he said he still likes to annoy me, but he won't do it so blatently.
Hmmm, how much truth does the scoundrel speak??:P, i guess i'll find out))

Oprah Winfrey pls help meee ( LOL jokes never!)

Настроение сейчас - good!

Dirk Terblanche: formerly known as Dirk!
Profile: 20 male, same university hostile, shorter than me, blue eyes, scuffy hair bla bla.
Why did I bring him up....???
BECAUSE
EVER SINCE THIS YEAR HE HAS BEGAN TO ANNOY ME
I don't know, last year he was very good, and I considered him a friend.
Picture I good guy, picture Dirk.
Ok but since 1 January 2007....
Possessed by satan? Ate a spider? Learnt how to fly?
Whatever it was, he gets on my nerves, but the thing is, he does it on purpose
=(
For example, he started to hit my door real loud in the corridor, throw stuff at me in maths lectures from behind the lecture hall, slap me on my back from behind when im at lunch in the dining hall. And when he comes to my room, he talks for 5 secs, then starts to take my stuff and walk away, while saying " im taking your stuff, what you gonna do about it?"

Ok, I guess im sometimes bad at taking a joke, and am abit too serious, but on the other hand, after once or twice, and I ask to pls stop it, but I get no response, it doesnt matter that im super patient, my patience too has limit( which converges to finite number, and not diverging to infinity:P)

But i guess today was the final straw, he sat at the same table I was at during lunch, someone he knew, and begun being talking about my bad performance in actuarial science test(look down my posts at the score!!), and he talked about how much I had studied so hard for it, and i still failed it.
Im sorry but, whether he meant it or not, it was really offensive to me, I was very sad about that mark I had.
Enough was enough.
My responce... NO RESPONSE.
And yes, it means the COLD SHOULDER turned. Basically, I treat as if he doesnt exist. Wont utter a word, not a greeting. Yes, im harsh, but until such time as an apology is given, I can't let him go on.
If I don't do something to let him know he is getting out of hand, he will continue to annoy(which is maybe abit tolerable, but to begin being nasty, no no)
I dont like doing this, but I think it might work.
I have asked many times, but (unfortunately, action speaks louder than words)
( Sorry Dirk, I want to forgive, but if I do, it will carry on, pls be nicer to me))))). )
Its hard to ignore someone who is around you, but yea.
But I always want to get along with all! In school and now. I'm nice to all that I find good ( they dont have to be angels), and sometimes if its a personality or attitude I dont like, when im with that person, I dont act like i dont like them, i just act like anyone would like to be treated. ( As long as they don't become very nasty to me)

Настроение сейчас - all emotions possible simultaneously

Well, I've made my decision. On the one hand...
Maintaining 2 journals is too much commitement, but on the other hand, here at live internet, there is a valuable commodity called privacy. NON of my friends know I have this site, and non have access to it. I dont know know anyone close in my life here too. What does this mean? Precisely what I said it means. I can write whatever I want and feel, without worrying about people in my life making comments. It's my private world. A sanctuary from my everyday life, a place where I can escape and capture my thoughts. I could do this at another site, but think about it, whats the chance of a friend creating an account here, and meeting me by chance? VERY SLIM!
Who needs dreams to sort out their daily issues in their minds, when you have a journal!
Verdict, keep this account open for now, I will start a general one at cupid.com or face book..., but here is where the real stuff occurs)))
Hmmm, having said that, the only scenario where i may show someone this place is if he/she is a chat friend ( i.e not someone I know around me), but this chat friend I must trust to the 100th degree to keep my secret. In other words, if they are anything short of an angel i won't show:P
I'm starting to think of such a person( no name metioned). It will actually be the first, ever I MIGHT accept.
Cool! Now that that's sorted out=)
P.S omw mathematical statistics in tomorrow 19.00, and I have sorely under-estimated its difficult! I'm scared:(
