Tarja Turunen misses from Finland

Voice met singer Tarja Turunen in Hotell Helka. She shared her thoughts about the summer heats in Finland and what she misses from Finland.
- I miss my friends and family and the silence. Buenos Aires in a city of millions and you always have to go futher from there to look for silence, Turunen tells Voice.
Turunen, who spends most of her time on the road, appreciate nothing happening for a while. She also thanks Skype so that family and friends are reachable and longing doesn't grow too big.
The brunette is used to heat isn't complaining about the hot weather in Finland eventhough she admits that her face powder won't hold up in the sun.
- This is nothing, Turunen laughs.
Turunen becomes serious while telling how people in her home country Argentina have been killed by the frost. She reminds the fortenately here in Finland the humidity is nothing compared to Argentina. There the moisture content is up to 92%.
In this trip to Finland Tarja Turunen has enjoyed sushi and seen the Prince Of Persia- movie. Tarja Turunen's second solo album What Lies Beneath comes out early September.

Summer Camp diary - Part 3

Добрый день всем!

Сейчас 9 утра, и я, прихлебывая свой утренний кофе, читаю последние сводки НХЛ и пишу этот пост. И когда это я успел превратиться в ведущего бложик компьютерного гика?

Было невероятно жарко, и невиданная доселе жара буквально атаковала нас последние несколько недель, и я не могу припомнить, когда ж я последний раз одевал носки и спал под простынями. Тем не менее, никаких жалоб, потому что водные виды спорта до сих пор не приносили такого наслаждения, как в эти дни. Мы успели кое-что сделать на фронте аранжировки новых песен, хотя репетиционная комната с её 35-тиградусной жарой это сейчас не самое заманчивое место.

 Ребёнок родился...

Мне очень приятно сообщить вам, что вчера 30-го июля в 16:28 у нас с Йоханом родился сын ;=)

Его рост 52 см и вес 3930 грамм.

Со вторника мы пытались, чтобы он родился естественным путём и использовали другие методы, но так же как это было с моим первым сыном, у меня были не достаточно сильные схватки, поэтому было решено сделать кесарево сечение.

Мы все всё ещё в больнице, где мы отдыхаем и просто счастливы иметь такого прекрасного и драгоценного мальчика с нами. Жизнь настолько прекрасна и я очень-приочень счастлива и на седьмом небе от радости ;=)

Мой новый альбом наконец готов!

На это ушло какое-то время, но результат настолько хорош, что я думаю, что он стоил того, чтобы немного попотеть .

Это был самый тяжёлый и самый трудный проект за всю мою карьеру, но очень стоящий. Я очень горжусь всеми людьми, которые были вовлечены и потратили своё время на моё искусство. Я им очень благодарна.

A glance beneath the surface

Since the split from Nightwish, the exceptional soprano Tarja Turunen worked hard on her solo career.Her album "My winter storm" from 2007 wasn't just a personal success. The new album "What lies beneath" will be released on August 20th, the single for "Falling awake" on August 6th, right on time to the singer's performance at Wacken open air. Even the finn is using the usual mix of metal and classic on her new record, it's still worth to listen carefully - because as the title says, there is lots of new stuff beneath the surface which is revealed little by little.
