A top down raglan, the only exiting thing in this construction is that the raglan increases are done at first on every second row and then on every 3rd row!

Tension: 22sts x 28rows (1inch=5,5sts)

Raglan math:
For a 7 inch neck: 7 x 5,5 = 38,4 = 39sts for back
39 : 3 = 13 sts for each sleeve
+1 sts each at front
+2 sts x 4 for raglan “corners”
(later I’ll also need around 187sts for my 34inch bust)

So, I need to cast on:
1+2+13+2+39+2+13+2+1 = 75sts

I’ll increase 1 sts at front every RS row (start at row 4)

After 20sts increases at sleeve (a total of 33sts, at row 21) switch to raglan increases on every 3th row instead of every RS row (to have a deeper slope on the raglan and to get a smaller sleeve opening).

At the end of row 28, on a RS cast on 20 sts, close front and knit in rounds.

When the raglan length measures 6,5inches (at row 48) separate sleeves from body: put 51sts on waste yarn for each sleeve (back has 77sts/ front has 82sts) and cast on 10sts at sleeves. The total sts are now 187sts (exactly the bust sts I calculated before).

After 10cm (at row 30) from sleeve separation start waist shaping (markers are now at each side):
decrease:
k2, ssk, knit to 4 sts before marker, k2tog, k2, SM, k2, ssk, knit to 4 sts before marker, k2tog, k2, SM.
Repeat after 10 rows.
knit to 18,5cm after sleeve separation and start increases:
k2, kRL, knit to 2 sts before marker, kLL, k2, SM, k2, kRL, knit to 2 sts before marker, kLL, k2, SM.
Repeat after 10 rows x 3 times.
After another 10 rows do the bottom part as in the Hybrid jumper I’ve linked to in the beginning.

sleeves:
with needle 3,5mm pick up 2 sts on each side at underarm = 15sts + 51 sts of raglan sleeve.
On first row decrease 2 on each corner to avoid hole and on second again at each corner + 2 before and after middle sts. (60sts)
start moss sts for two rounds (dec another sts to get an uneven number for moss sts) and change to needle 3mm
for another 2 rows.
BO in contrast colour.

Neck opening:
Pick up sts from back, 3 out of 4 on sides and all from front cast on with needle 3mm.
With needle 3,5mm knit one row and decrease on each “corner” of neck opening. Then 4 rows in moss sts (decrease on back “edges” on each RS row).
