Does regenerative medicine really work?

Четверг, 18 Февраля 2021 г. 07:09 + в цитатник

Autologous Functional Keratin (Facterium vitis-oxidized keratin; Vitostero and Cheiro). This is the most extensively used natural ingredient within an autologous injection for treating mild to severe forms of facial aging and skin rejuvenation. It was originally intended to be a remedy for cancer. Scientists discovered that it encouraged healing in skin cells, but not skin cancer, and therefore was introduced as a injectable product for the treatment of aging, dry skin, and eczema. Businesses around the world started using it as a cheap source of additional collagen for medical and cosmetic applications.

The production process extracts collage from sheep's wool, and then processes it to make Functional Keratin. Keratin is necessary for normal skin appearance and function. The manufacturing of Keratin enables production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for the regeneration of skin cells, and the production of new skin cells.

It's now commonly used as a treatment for stretch marks, mild to moderate dermal wrinkles, age spots, sagging skin, dark circles, sun damage, and acne. The autologous collagen may also be utilised in the treatment of burns, scar tissue, minor cuts, and psoriasis. In addition to these uses, it's also being researched for use in the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. If effective, this product could revolutionize medical therapies in several locations.

Collagen is the building block of connective tissue and plays a significant part in preserving skin elasticity. As people age, the amount of collagen decreases because of decreased production. Also, since the quantity of collagen decreases, the chance of wrinkles and sagging increases, in addition to the aging procedure. For all these reasons, it's been seen that increasing collagen in the human body is one effective way of slowing the aging process.

This form of collagen can also be a great deal more costly than the synthetic type of collagen. So far, there's no approved FDA-approved drug or treatment that's derived from this material. There is, however, a huge array of alternatives to collagen replacement like the use of Botox and Collagen gel. These substances are not derived from animals, are accepted by the Food and Drug Administration, and are not as costly than Collagen. But again, it's important to talk to a qualified physician before utilizing them.
