Spiritual specialness is from the unconscious arrogance of the confidence improper mind which thinks it is in competition with God. Since we're yet, we're actually competing with every one all the time till we understand this lesson. All conflict arises from the thought of competition. Spiritual specialness makes some associations holy and the others maybe not as the ego's agenda is that individuals don't remember that the purpose given anything is in the mind from picking with Lord or the ego. To get back our decision making capacity is the purpose of the Course.

 

The ego's style, which we wrongly believe could be the Holy Spirit, includes no humility or dependence on God. Instead, it is the voice to be self-created, i.e., the authority problem. Most of us have confusion regarding the author of our existence (ego or God) and the huge difference between type (illusion) and material (mind wherever modification take place). To be miracle-minded, we can't be in conflict on any level for the right-mind itself is conflict-free. There is a difference between right-miracle-minded and the miracle mind of the ego.

 

We have no honesty when we use spiritual specialness once we assert we're more sacred, more plumped for by Lord than another. This is a protection against the opposite and we will be discussing this issue in larger degree in following article. Being more picked could be the antithesis of the Course's message.

 

To continue that debate, let's begin with some word image definitions. We shall search at both the vanity meaning and the Course's definition.
