GAUGE:
In Openwork Pattern: 19 sts and 25 rows = 4x4" after blocking.

BACK:
NOTE 1
Decrease 1 st for side seam shaping as follows:
At the beginning of right side rows, P2, P2tog.
At the end of right side rows, work to last 4 sts, P2tog, P2.

NOTE 2
Increase 1 st for side seam shaping as follows:
At the beginning of right side rows: P2, purl into the front loop and then into the back loop of next st.
At the end of right side rows: work to last 3 st; purl into the front loop and then into the back loop of next st, P2.

Instructions:

Shoulder:
When back measures -a) 21" -b) 21.25" -c) 21.5 -d) 22", bind off at armhole edge every 2 rows:

FRONT:
Work same as back.

SLEEVES:
Using 3 strands of yarn with largest needle, cast on -a) 53 sts -b) 57 sts -c) 61 sts -d) 65 sts.
Change to middle size needles and Beginning and ending with st marked -a) A -b) B -c) C -d) D, work Openwok Pattern following Graph B. When sleeve measures 4.75", change to smallest size needles and continue in existing pattern.

Armhole:
When sleeve measures 14.25", bind off at each edge every 2 rows:
-a) 2 sts 2 times; 1 st 9 times; 2 sts 2 times: [19 sts]
-b) 2 sts 2 times; 1 st 10 times; 2 sts 2 times: [21 sts]
-c) 2 sts 2 times; 1 st 11 times; 2 sts 2 times: [23 sts]
-d) 2 sts 2 times; 1 st 12 times; 2 sts 2 times: [25 sts]
When sleeve measures -a) 18.5" -b) 19 -c) 19.25" -d) 19.75", bind off all remaining sts.

FINISHING:
Carefully block pieces on the wrong side, using steam only.
Sew right shoulder seam.
Using smallest size needles, pick up -a) 108 sts -b) 117 sts -c) 126 sts -d) 135 sts around neck edge.
Beginning with a wrong side row, work the three rows of Pattern St, following Graph. Bind off as follows: *K2tog, slip resulting st back onto LH needle, *; rep from * to *.
Sew other shoulder seam.
Matching center of sleeve with shoulder seam, sew in top of sleeve, then sew underarm seam.
Sew side seams.
