Game Informer just posted an article announcing a new TV Anime series based on the Mana series, namely Legend of Mana with the added title "The Teardrop Crystal." As to what will be about and what timeline within the game's story will take place is not yet known, but it mentions that it will be in collaboration with Yokohama Animation Lab, which created the outstanding Legend of Mana remastered opening for the PS4 shown in the video below:
There was a Manga based on the game published years ago, which was loosely based on said game's story fleshing out characters and their stories along with the main protagonists, so I can only speculate that the tv series might do the same if this is a retelling of the game or a prequel/continuation.
Went shopping the day I visited the clinic. Had to buy the bear necessities but also indulged on something that caught my eye.
I already seen the entire series but have never owned a DVD of them, so it was natural that I could at least get some episodes and at 3 dollars it was pretty much a no brainer to attain.
In other Anime news, am watching the last seasons of Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan, both which are pretty damn good as they had been since the first episode I watched of both. Am also keeping up with the latest season of My Hero Academia, not sure if the 5th one might be its last, it seems there is a whole lot of story to be told being its characters are uber fantastic.
I was happy to see the likes of Pony Tsunotori have more screentime, her horns are really something. That mushroom girl was pretty interesting as well.
So according to this article there will be a Season 5 of the Castlevania Netflix series with Trevor's story closing in 4, but not sure as to who will be used in said continuation or in what timeline of the games as well. Will advise about spoilers if you have not seen Season 4 yet.
I am not that much of a fan of this Anime and only began watching it recently after all the hype surrounding it died down a little bit. I can say that I do relate on the job relationships one must endure with other employees and their bosses, and I do find some characters cute as well. I am not too fond of the Gorilla character. She seems highly stereotypical in a lot of ways which makes me wonder if anyone ever declared making fun of black people or anything of the sort. The way she is designed doesn't help in my opinion. Maybe Sario never meant it or even be close to depict this character in terms of design but then again I simply wouldn't know either.
Another thing about it is that I decided on watching the subtitled version of it since I heard dubbed clips online and some characters just sound so horrible. I am partial to both version of any Anime in case one sounds better than the other, so the subtitled one here is working far better for me.
I intend to watch all seasons and any other OAV that may be available. I am curious on how all of this ends really.
I started watching Season 2 of Beastars since it was now being released. Lugosi gets to play Detective trying to find out more about the murder taking place in the first season and Louise is now head of the Lion Mafia. Damn this is getting even better than the previous season and I for one am going to enjoy every episode of it.
If there is anything I regret doing in my life is me joining this cesspool of an Anime listing site. AniList proved to me how Anime fans can become such horrible people to one another, not that I had encountered testy people like it before and about anything else, but this place actually lets you believe that because they consider themselves "weebs," that such behavior towards anyone is to be expected. That was on their own words even.
Right off the bat after joining I am being verbally assaulted by a member solely because I add my Tumblr account link on my profile, acting homophobic about it. That was simply the tip of the iceberg on how these manchildren would behave and had no qualms on getting too far in their insults, not caring how insensitive they would come off as at all. The last thing ever done to me there before I left is when they made light of my post on current shootings that had happened in the past few years, some even wishing that a shooter would show up at my doorstep as well.
Not only their members are highly toxic, but their staff are some of the worst just as well, acting pretty much the same and even siding with bullies who harass you in that place, often pointing out about you being "rude" to anyone when you are defending yourself against such individuals. Finger pointing is about the only thing I ever got in turn when I tried reporting anyone there.
I got locked out my account when they saw that I would not bend to their asinine behavior, not before leaving a last message stating how piss poor their place is and how they handle it. AniList also has the worst blocking feature that I used anywhere else, seemingly not working till a few hours later and having such unruly members still attacking you when they noticed being blocked.
This place reminds me a lot on how kids act on places like 4chan and I am glad not being part of it. I really don't recommend getting an account there.
