You will need:

Make a ball using remnants of wool yarns.

Tear off a small piece of wool for felting and put it on the ball. Put the next piece of wool in a different direction.

Cover the whole ball putting several layer of wool in different directions.

Carefully put covered ball into the sock and tie both sides of the sock. You can put several balls in one sock dividing them with knots.

Put the sock into a washing machine and wash it with high temperature using detergent. Your balls are ready. Dry them (it can take couple of days if balls are big).

Embroider any motif you like on the list of thin felt.

Cut the circle with the embroidery and fix it on the ball with several pins. Sew the circle to the ball. I used «blanket stitch».

Add several beads for more glamorous look. Sew the ribbon on the top of the ball.
